Chilka Lake: Chilka Lake is a brackish water lagoon, spread over the Puri, Khurda and Ganjam districts of Odisha state on the east coast of India, at the mouth of the Daya River, flowing into the Bay of Bengal. It is the largest coastal lagoon in India and the second largest lagoon in the World. It is the largest wintering ground for migratory birds on the Indian sub-continent. The lake is home to a number of threatened species of plants and animals. The lake is an ecosystem with large fishery resources. It sustains more than 150,000 fisher folk living in 132 villages on the shore and islands.
Pipili Pipili Pipili: Pipili is a town and a notified area committee under jurisdiction of Puri district in the Indian state of Odisha. It is famous for designing beautiful Applique handicrafts. The applique work of Pipili is probably most well known handicraft in Puri and surrounding area. Each and every family of here are engaged themselves in this applique craft. This is livelihood of most people here.
Sakhigopal Temple Sakhigopal Temple Sakhigopal: Sakhigopal, located at distance of nearly 10 to 20 kilometers from Puri, is one of the most famous pilgrimage spots of Odisha. It is an ideal place to get an insight into the Hindu philosophies and learn more about the religion. Sakhigopal is basically famous for the Sakhigopal Temple. This is at temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is one of the oldest temples of Odisha and one of the most famous ones too.
Ramachandi  Ramachandi Temple: Ramachandi Temple, is on a beautiful spot on the banks of the Kusabhadra River where it flows into the Bay of Bengal. It is only 5 km away from Konark in the Puri District of Odisha. Goddess Ramachandi, the deity of Konark is thought by some to be the presiding deity of this temple, while others thought it to be the temple of Mayadevi, wife of Surya (Sun God).
Chandrabhaga Chandrabhaga ChandrabhagaChandrabhaga: At about 3 kms from the Sun Temple at Konark is the Chandrabhaga beach. The strong currents do not make it either safe or easy for swimming. But the picturesque view of the sunrise and sunset at this place is enchanting. For tourists can be availed at Konark, which is just 2km away from Chandrabhaga beach. Though Satapada is not very famous for migratory birds but visitors may find different varieties of migratory birds here because the famous Nalabana bird sanctuary is very near to Satapada.
